Board of Trustees

Andy most recently served as the Sr. Warden of the parish. Andy is a Partner at Waibel Energy Systems. Andy has been married for 25 years and has 4 children: Grace (SPES 2012) Hannah (SPES 2014) VeVe (SPES 2023), and Andrew (SPES 2025). Andy and his wife, Dr. Jill Waibel, have lived in Coral Gables for the last 10 years. A faithful member of our church, Andy continues to serve on the Vestry and lead many outreach initiatives.

Joanie was born in Lake Forest, IL, and moved to Miami in 2013 when she married her husband, Jon Rank, who is a native of Miami. They joined the parish in 2013 and have three daughters: Grace (SPES 2025),  Mary, and Annabelle. Joanie sits on the board of the National Museum of Women in the Arts in Washington D.C., the American Red Cross of Greater Miami & The Keys, and the Board Development Committee and Heartbeat of Miami.

Bibi has served in various capacities on our Board, including Board Chair and SHA President. Bibi is a Miami native and a graduate of the University of Florida. She is a CPA by training and along with her husband Hector, is the parent of Thomas (SPES 2014) and Timothy (SPES 2017). Bibi and her family are members of our parish.

Reverend Conroy has been at St. Philip’s since September 2009 and was installed as the Sixth Rector on September 16, 2012. She has served churches in Colorado, Massachusetts, Texas, and Arizona. Born and raised in Williamstown, MA, Reverend Conroy has an M.Div and D.Min from Seabury-Western Theological Seminary in Evanston, Illinois. She recently completed a Certificate in Non-Profit Management from the Kellogg School at Northwestern University.

Jackie is a graduate of Fordham University, and worked at Chemical Bank for 10 years before earning her Master’s in Early Childhood from the University of Miami. She was a beloved 1st grade teacher at St. Philip’s for 24 years. Jackie and her husband, Eduardo, have two grown children and five grandchildren.
